This is noted as being Elizabeth Dauncy (1506-1564) on the left. She is Sir Thomas More's second daughter, and it appears that she is pregnant. Margaret Giggs (1508-1570) is on the right, and is More's adopted daughter.

This image is one of a few surviving family group portraits from the Tudor time period. It is a prepatory sketch of the original Holbein painting of Sir Thomas More and his family, which was painted around 1527. That original was destroyed by fire in the eighteenth century.
